Very professional and friendly environment. They explained all my hair questions and even added tips on how I can keep my hair healthy. the assistant was very pleasant and gave me a grate shampoo. I was able to get in and out in reasonable timing. Over all give them 5 stars. this business was worth every penny!

I have been natural for over 5 years now. About two years back, I went to this salon to get a straightened birthday style. I must say it was the biggest mistake I ever made, inwhich it left my hair falling out and just now my hair has fully recovered from. First off, when I walked in with my natural hair, they all looked bewildered and seemed not up for it. I wasn't sure if it was that they didn't know how to deal with natural hair or they simply wasn't up for the challenge. I assumed because they were black! They most certainly know. That was not the case. The wash was fine but when it got to detangling my hair, they ripped it out without taking their time. When it came to blow drying, they did not put no heat protectant on my hair, not even when the hot comb and flat iron was used. My hair was still wet in the middle, which the steam would burn my scalp. When the torture was finally done, my hair was left looking limped and thin and my scalp sore. Went out for the night and the hair style didn't even last two hours before my hair frizzed up. The following few days, I tried to get my curl back because my hair looked so lifeless but while I am in the shower attempting to do so, my hair would not revert back and the really straight parts just literally fell off in clumps onto the bottom of the shower. Beyond heat damages. Took me all this time to get my hair back to where it was. I had to cut off all the heat damaged. Now I am really cautious on who does my hair, salon or not! Just because they black don't mean they know how to do natural hair.
