I've been coming here for years. I took in my brothers cat who was partly feral. She could not be kept inside because she clawed at the windows, curtains, etc. Would meow loudly and destroy all the furniture she could. She would attack my chihuahua and claw him up. She killed so many birds! She was an avid hunter. I tried behavior modification, love, treats, etc. Finally decided to have her declawed. Not an easy decision for me. It cost $400. The female vet performed the surgery. One of her paws got infected after the surgery but antibiotics cleared it up. Then her left paw grew back all the claws. Her right paw grew back 2 claws. The vet offered to do the surgery again for free except I would have to pay for the anesthesia again. I didn't want to put the kitty through all that again and besides she'll never climb again with 2 claws on her right paw. She can't climb and kill the birds anymore, but the surgery was definitely botched. No one offered to refund any part of the $400 I spent! A long time customer and now I'll never go back! I am so disappointed that no one offered any compensation. I paid for a service that was not rendered. Why would I subject my cat again to more surgery for perhaps the same botched result. Have to find a new vet now. Very disappointed. I've been a loyal customer for years and Dr. Nyholt is a good vet. My animals always received good care from him, but the female vet obviously doesn't know how to perform a declaw surgery and didn't offer any compensation except another chance to do what she should have the first time.
Love the vets there and all the staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful at all times. They take excellent care of all dogs and cats that need care.
Our 2 yr old Yorkie Jeff had bladder stones and had to have surgery to remove them. The surgery went without any problems and Jeff was back doing his old tricks and learning new ones. The ladies up front are great and very helpful; Jeff loved showing off his tricks to the staff.
I have been going here for years. The doctors are compassionate and caring. LOVE them!
The worst experience I have ever encountered!! Tracy trated me aweful with no reason. She needs to learn to treat customers with respect. Seen how she treated me I desided to walk away with my dog- at this point I did not feel that I can trust my dog to stay over night at this place. If this is how I got treated knowing that I can voice my concerns, I can only imagine how the animals may be treated. After seven days of feeling aweful of how I was treated I decided to call and I spoke with the manager. The manager was "nicer" but she made it clear that she did not cared to loose a customer, as it was "just another dog".
